You can use information on this page to provide information and signposting to employees and there is a template available here: Guidance - Cancer and Work Cancer can cause uncertainty and concern in many areas of your life, and one of these may be your work-life. If you are diagnosed with cancer, it is advisable to speak to your manager (or an Authorised Manager), as soon as possible. You can talk to them about how your cancer treatment may affect you and the impact this may have on your work. This will help the Company to decide how best to support you. The Company may also refer you to Occupational Health, who will be able to offer additional support and guidance to you and the Company.
